Matt Gutzwiller, PE

Director of Land Services

Matt is a proud first-generation Aggie, having earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2013. Matt is one of the three Directors of Land Services and is specialized in the commercial site development field.

Over Matt’s career he has been responsible for the design and management of a very diverse portfolio of projects including single and multifamily residential, warehouses, schools, large and smaller retail centers, golf courses, office complexes, townhomes, sports facilities and more.

Matt’s engineering journey began in high school, when he completely rebuilt what would be his first car, an ’84 Ford Bronco, rebuilding the engine, transmission, wiring, interior, paint, brakes, etc. The desire to fully understand how something is built and the creativity to optimize and enhance the vehicle was the driving factor that positioned Matt down the path of engineering. This desire to optimize and find creative solutions to complex site designs has been at the forefront of Matt’s engineering career. Matt strives to instill the same outside of the box thinking when working with his team.

I have worked closely with EHRA for the past 6 years and have been very satisfied with their service. We have done both public and private work on the development of a major industrial park. They have been excellent in steering us through District work and their work on timely reimbursement processing has been stellar. I would highly recommend considering them for your work.
