Project Overview

EHRA completed a site-specific planning and visioning study

EHRA completed a site-specific planning and visioning study for the proposed 470-acre San Jacinto Boulevard District (SJBD) in Baytown, Texas. The SJBD concept is a mixed-use area located south of Interstate 10 and west of west of San Jacinto Mall. The intentions of the study were to provide data to support the facilitation of private development within the district and to create a comprehensive vision for other future land uses, drainage solutions, and jurisdictional issue resolutions.

EHRA worked closely with Baytown staff throughout the project in order to better understand the City’s goals and to assess the needs of any additional stakeholders. A brief summary of EHRA services provided for this project include: existing land use analysis, suitability analysis, conceptual land use planning, conceptual drainage studies, detailed site planning, visioning, regulatory analysis and recommendations, low impact development suggestions, and a final public presentation.
