EHRA designed an expansion that implemented the installation of a new triplex lift station operating in conjunction with the existing duplex lift station.
EHRA was selected as one of two firms to provide professional surveying services under contract to Houston Community College System.
EHRA completed a site-specific planning and visioning study for the proposed 470-acre San Jacinto Boulevard District (SJBD) in Baytown, Texas.
EHRA completed preliminary engineering, phase one environmental site assessment and schematic development for the widening of Northpark Dr. between US 59 and Woodland Hills Dr. EHRA also provided program management, drainage analysis and design, traffic engineering, environmental documentation and schematic design for the roadway, as well as grade separation at the Loop 494/UPRR railroad crossing.
EHRA conducted traffic operations and access management studies for the Northpark Dr. corridor. This corridor is approximately 2.2 miles long and has major signalized and unsignalized intersections and driveways that access various subdivisions and industrial developments. These studies laid the groundwork for the widening of Northpark Dr. from a four-lane boulevard cross-section to a six-lane boulevard complete street. The new street design includes low impact development drainage, conventional drainage, a grade separation at the UPRR crossing with mechanically stabilized earth retaining walls, two at-grade crossings for bi-directional frontage access, reconstruction of two concrete bridges over a diversion channel, intersection improvements, a roadway-adjacent multiuse path and traffic signal improvements.
Drainage analysis and design included hydrologic and hydraulic studies of both existing and proposed conditions to demonstrate that proposed project components would not adversely affect the 100-year floodplain in the area. The roadway and traffic designs contained horizontal and vertical alignments, cross-sections, plan and profile, sidewalk and bicycle accommodations, intersection layouts, traffic control plans and signing and pavement markings.
As the program management firm, EHRA coordinated with TxDOT, UPRR, the City of Houston Council District E, COH Planning and Development Department, COH Public Works and Engineering Department, Montgomery County, Harris County, HCFCD and area residents throughout the project.
Identified as a top priority during the development of the District’s Parks Master Plan, this portion of trail was the first phase of over two miles of planned trails to provide connectivity and recreation for District residents.
October was a month of recognition and celebration for EHRA Engineering’s Marketing Team, whose creativity and dedication were recognized at two major industry events—the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Houston Design Awards and the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) PRISM Awards.
At the SMPS Houston Design Awards Luncheon held on October 2, 2025, EHRA was awarded third place in the Target Marketing/Specific Project Marketing category for the team’s private sector projects portfolio. The annual SMPS awards shine a spotlight on the outstanding marketing and communications efforts of A/E/C firms throughout the Greater Houston area. EHRA’s recognition in this category reflects the team’s passion and success in sharing our work and the immense value of our projects to our current and future clients and project and industry partners.
Just two days later, on October 4, 2025, the GHBA hosted its annual PRISM Awards, bringing together the best in Houston’s homebuilding, marketing and design industries for an evening of celebration. EHRA was honored with the Best TV or Video Promo – Associate award for our Chambers Creek project highlight video, which showcases the beauty and innovation behind this exceptional development. The video is a testament to the collaborative efforts between our marketing team, project managers and creative partners in capturing the story of EHRA’s work in a compelling, visual format. The video would not have been a success without our project partner, Caldwell Companies in allowing us to showcase their project, and the collaborative efforts and participation from CEO, Fred Caldwell and President/Chief Development Officer, Peter Barnhart.
These recognitions are more than just trophies. They represent the hard work, collaboration and creative spirit that drive EHRA’s marketing initiatives. With the support of every service group across the firm, our marketing team continues to find fresh and meaningful ways to share our story and highlight the impact of our work across the Greater Houston region.
We extend our sincere appreciation to SMPS Houston and the Greater Houston Builders Association for hosting these inspiring events and for providing platforms that celebrate the power of creativity and connection within our industry. Congratulations to all of this year’s award recipients, and here’s to continuing to share our stories with purpose and pride.
